From the artist....
I started this one on David Bowie’s birthday. The “47” represents the year he was born. This new piece was finished numerous times before I landed on the final version - there’s a lot of layers. 👽 Some of the closing lines from “Space Oddity” are embedded in the chaos and one of those lines was the inspiration for the title - “Far Above The Moon”. - Billy Ludwig

This is a one of a kind mixed media piece inspired by David Bowie by Billy Ludwig.  Intentionally made to look gritty and severely weathered as if it were just cut off a downtown wall covered in guerrilla marketing.
